Mother was Caroline Teresa Payne, died at Perley Home on Fri, age 85, born in Earldley, daughteer of Richard Payne and Hattie Stevens, married in 1895, in 1908 moved to Hazeldean - has brother Sidney Pane of Manotick, Mrs. J. andrews, Luseland, Sask, Mr. Fred Payne, Orttaw, Caroline died Nov. 1951, funeral from Britannia U. C. Rev. Armstrong.

14 (Medical):Margaret suffered 2 years from Interstitial nephritis a form of nephritis affecting the interstitium of the kidneys surrounding the tubules. This disease can be either acute, which means it occurs suddenly or chronic, meaning it is ongoing and eventually ends in kidney failure. From Looking Back: p. 130 :" was born at 190 Wellington street. He was edsucated at the Model School and ashbury House School (1894-1898) when it was located at 188 Wellngton street, next door to his home. He received a diploma in accountancy from the international Correspondence Schools, Scranton, Pa. on april 1st, 1910.
On June 16, 1898, Cyril entered the service of the old Bank of Ottawa, later absorbed by the bank of Nova Scotia. In March, 1896, he was transferred to their branch in kemptville at a salary of $10 per month. By November his salary had rised to $25 per month,..... In 19211 Cyril became accountant for the Slater-Sherwood estates, a position he held util he retired in 1961 at the age of 80.

28 1851 Census of Canada shows George lived on Lot 33, Concession 5, Nepean Township, in a log house of 1 and one-half stories. George purchased part of Lot 33, Concession 5 Rideau Front on 27 April, 1828, paying more for it than Nicholas paid for his lot on Wellington Street, and the remaining part, he purchased 1833. This would indicate came to Canada about 1842, lived in Bytown until at least 1847, then moved to Bells Corners.

Co., living 388 Albert St. Info from Roots 3: Will #3945A of George Sparks, of Nepean, Farmer: to wife Elizabeth Sparks. niece Daisy Pallister, house at Westboro and 3 lots adjacent to Eliz, his wife, then to children of my sisters, Eliza Farmer and Alice Foster. Nephew Robert Farmer predeceased him, so to nieces Annie Farmer and Carrie Farmer, daughters of Eliza Farmer. Codicil to will: to nephew William John Geddes and Robert Henry Geddes, $2000., Elizabeth Foster predeceased: her share to Charlotte Hill (nee Foster).

No date of birth or family shown. Would probably be age 89 at least at time of death. Dr. Baskin at Home for Aged attest to death and E. Gauthier & son had funeral.

89 About 1890 he came to Enterprise, Ontario, with his mother. He visited his brother George Caldwell Sparks in North Dakota and was seen by Mel Wagar at that time.
I visited Enterprise Ontario with George and Evelyn Sparks from Osgoode , there spoke to a Luce Eillen Parks, Ray Cougar, Helen Vanesse, a white house before entering Enterprise where Byron Nicholas Sparks lived.

Info from old files: Information from "Loyalist Lineages of Canada 1783-1983", says: "Ada Stoirm
married Byron Sparks Child is Myrtle Luella born 1899, married Fred Dykeman." Something is wrong here re birthdate of Myrtle Luella if she is their child. Ada Storm's father is given as William Henry Storm, b 1851, died 31 July 1931, buried in Moscow, Camden E. res. Celing Bay. His lst wife was Lydia Ann Babcok, born 12 Apr 1861, buried at Violet, Ont, died 5 May 1896. His 2nd wife is Martha Ann Babcock, b 1864.

100 According to his obituary in the Ottawa Times, Nov. 10, 1867, interment was to take place in the Sandy Hill cemetery. A record of where he was moved to from Sandy Hill when the cemetery closed has not been found. George may have been reburied on his own land. There is a story that an old pioneer was buried under an elm tree on the Rideau Tennis Club grounds (his farm originally), but one family member Shirley Serafini thought it might have been the child who died as an infant or young child who was buried there.
